How do I Action a 'Pending' Shift?

Approve/Reject a pending shift on the portal (List view):

  1. Select ‘Shifts’ from left menu, then ‘View all Shifts (List)’.
  2. Select ‘Pending’ from the ‘Status’ box and click ‘Apply Filters’; this will display all the pending shifts.
  3. Click on the ‘Needs Approval’ status box to view the locum(s) who has applied for this shift.
  4. Click the green tick to approve or red cross to reject the locum. 
  5. An automated email will be sent to the locums, informing them if they have been accepted for the shift or whether the shift is no longer available.

Approve/Reject a pending shift on the portal (Calendar view):

  1. Select ‘Shifts’ from left menu then select ‘View All Shifts (Calendar)’.
  2. Click on the date where there is a pending shift.
  3. Under the ‘Pending’ tab you will see a list of locums who have applied for the shift.
  4. Click on the ‘Action’ button to either ‘Accept Booking’ or ‘Reject Booking’.
  5. An automated email will be sent to the locums, informing them if they have been accepted for the shift or whether the shift is no longer available.
